Sight

McKenna is plagued by premonitions. Having grown up in a family that has dealt with visions for centuries, this is completely normal for her--except for the fact that she is one of a kind within her own psychic crowd. While the only living Travelers see a smattering of events, from the page on the next morning's news to what their spouse is planning for dinner the next day, Mckenna sees grisly scenes of death, murder, and destruction. In spite of "her calling", she has set her sights on Chicago, and providing a normal life for her younger sister.

Caiden is known for his sharp tongue and inhuman agility. Caught robbing an infamous thief on the streets of New York at eight years old, he was raised to be nothing more than a weapon that would hold the peace between all supernatural beings in the face of impending rebellion. When assigned to tail McKenna to Chicago to decide if she really is the key the Black Allegiance has been looking for, things don't go as planned. Forced onto uncharted territory, Caiden must keep McKenna safe from the terror of a new, unpredicted danger, as well as learn to deal with the girl whose visions are getting uglier every night.

The path of destiny is one many say cannot be strayed, but McKenna and Caiden seem to be contradicting every law of nature as they fight to live as they like, not how everyone wants them to live. But surrounded by an underground world built on deceit, secrecy, and blood, the vagabond pair must either tear a hole through the heart of that world, or become a part of it. Both options are treacherous. Neither option is easy. But each has to choose, before the operation takes both of their lives.
