"Kane," I speak quietly before sobbing into my pillow, "I'll never be good enough." I say once again before continuing, "All those girls are prettier, smarter, cooler, more athletic, and so much more bette-"
"Let-" He began to say before I interrupted him by putting my finger to his lips. He stopped speaking, and gave me a look that I was unable to recognize. Before I could continue, I was wrapped in warm arms, obviously belonging to Kane.
"Letyn Lime Lewis," Kane began, "Not one of those girls are better than you. In fact, you are so much better than them."He says sighing, understanding that I will never believe that. "You are perfect. You know exactly who you want to be, you are not just pretty, but beautiful. You are you, and that's why I love you Letyn." He speaks, loosening his arms a small bit to kiss me on the nose, and giving us a chance to have eye contact.
"Letyn. They will never be above, only ever below you, below us."

Letyn Lime Lewis. A girl that is so insecure, you question if she even has any confidence. From being talked about at home and school almost every day, you can't blame her. Even if she has a very, very low self-esteem, she still has the biggest crush on the school's golden boy that every other girl has a crush on, Kane Milton. When Letyn is forced to do a singing contest with Kane, she does not realize that she is also being forced into what may become the rest of her life.
In a life where school is nothing like High School Musical, Letyn can only dream that it will be over with soon.
Carter slowly walked towards me, butterflies swarming in my stomach, filling every inch of me.
"Assi." he grabbed my wrists, and made me look at him. "Who was that song about?"
"You know who."
"Was it... about me?"
"What would you say if it was?" I cocked my head to the side, our eyes staying connected with each other.
"I wouldn't say." he moved closer to me, towering over by the slightest bit as his breath surrounded my every nerve.
He leant down, took a sharp breath and connected our lips.

Astrid was a beautiful girl, who had lost her sense of who she was and where she belonged. She went through something traumatic at only 14, but no one noticed. She moved to Roseville for a fresh start with her best friend Kaitlyn by her side.
But Carter notices. He was a "bad boy" with a heart of gold (ik it's cliché) . He never let anything slip by him. He doesn't say anything as their personalities clash and they hate each other.
You know what they say, there is a thin line between love and hate.
Will these two step over the line?
But sometimes, running away from your problems doesn't go down unnoticed. The very person Astrid ran away from is after her, and this time, the consequences will be worse.

This is an enemies-friends-lovers book and they become friends early on because I find it difficult to write going from enemies to lovers so yeah.
