A collection of poetry, prose and random thoughts about love, loss, growth, defeat, surrender and control from a submissive heart.
PREFACE
I never thought I would have enough random thoughts for one book, let alone two. Yet here we are.
I wrote these pieces of poetry, prose, haikus and even an acrostic between my first poetry book, Unspoken (middle of July 2018) and the end of October of 2018.
2018 was an emotionally challenging year for me as my family dealt with the loss of my father to Cancer in late 2017. Between this and the emotional toll of writing my novels, I had an excess of thoughts and feelings I wanted to express so I decided to take my emotions to Twitter and tweet out daily prose.
This is a chronological sum of my heart during this time.
In this book, I write about love and loss, growth and defeat, ending chapters and beginning new ones as well as surrender and control... all with a heavy and sensitive heart.
I hope you find some comfort in its pages.
Love always, Luna
If you want to read without the commitment, this is the perfect book for you. You can open it and read a few excerpts once in a while, or you can read it in one go. The entries here have various themes which may confuse readers as it confused the writer to complete it.
Check out Miscellanea, the second book inspired from the last entries of Trinkets.
A collection of prose and poems, of rhymes, and riddles, and a piece of a shattered heart.
"...Now this collection is bleeding with those memories. And I want you to understand. I want you to know what happened. I want you to feel every emotion that I felt. Flip the pages and understand. It could take some time. But believe me. Those days felt like it could last forever, too." -Summer (2016)
