Corruption.
Corruption is what breaks people and separates them from others. People considered corrupted were banished from their home to wander the world alone. Lust is the desire- a want, even a need for someone or something. It's a craving that eats away at one's mind. Redemption is salvation. To see the error of one's ways, to prove that one is willing to change for the better. Finally, Love. Love bonds individuals together, despite of who they really are, or what they have done. But what brings them into the world? Creatures different from reality, different from the social norm. Is exile the only possibility to rid them, in the world where they've been banished to?

AUTHOR's NOTE!
(The following is just an old story I had written back in sophomore year of high school, and intend to expand on it. I did end up doing a lot of worldbuilding and stuff! But then I eventually drifted away from this story to work on new ones, which are my new priority now because this is kinda old. However! I'll rewrite this in the future and add snippets here and there as chapter updates to this.)
(Sorry if this isn't really "good" or anything. Hopefully rewrites are better and all. The cover is made in MS Paint because I'm too lazy to make a proper cover at the moment; it'll probably change in the future. Or not.)

Rik couldn't afford college, so he took a janitor job at a virology lab. One night, he cleaned up a broken test tube. Soon, his beard stopped growing. His Cheetos-and-donut paunch disappeared. Suddenly, when he talked, people actually listened. Sure, he could see spirits, too, and a high-ranking devil may or may not be hunting him, but mostly this was great. Then his sister caught the virus. And others. If the virus spread out of control, what would happen? An angel apocalypse? The hordes of hell's minions could not afford to have the human race turn into angels. To stem the spread of the angel virus, they invaded. Suddenly, it was up to Rik and Trixie to save the city, and themselves, and maybe the whole human race. --- Complete. Still polishing. As might be inferred from the title, this story deals in a loose way with Christianity, one of the five major world religions. It is not, however a "Christian story" in the sense of illustrating actual religious experience or practice. I just thought I'd be plain about that here, so readers can decide whether to turn the page or not. This story is an urban fantasy and it is entirely fictional. Content rating: teen. A happy childhood, a so-so adolescence. Then adulthood arrived, and everything went to hell. And by everything, I mean it. Grown-up life is truly a wonderful, dazzling adventure! A job that drains your soul, stripping away any will to live while fueling a more or less justified homicidal instinct; depression knocking at the door with a lovely bouquet of red roses; and, last but not least, the remnants of a social life buried somewhere under my shoes. Not the ones I'm wearing now; those are slippers, big difference. I mean the other ones. The ones in the cabinet that I haven't touched in five years. Love can be destructive. It catches you, ensnares you, devours you, and if you're unlucky enough, it leaves you standing in nothing but your underwear before reducing you to ashes. I had made peace with my "and she lived single, forever unhappy but safe" fate. A house, one, four, eight, maybe twenty cats-to meet expectations-and a future as flat as a heart monitor that's given up the ghost. No joys, minimal suffering, because there's only so much a heart can take before it calls it quits. And honestly? Fuck it, I'd been through enough. ... But he changed everything. In the worst, most terrifying way possible. From this abyss, I may never climb back out.

Satan has been mistreated since day one. Ever since her parents found out they were having boy and girl twins, they have been disgusted but the fact of having a girl. Angel is an outgoing and talkative person, looking to find friends in a new school. Satan and Angel become friends, Angel teaching her sign. They eventually lead to something more, which seems to cause more than it should.
