"Fear can't hurt you. It's like a walker that can't bite. When you feel it, don't fuel it. Extinguish it."

It all started with Trouble. No, not that kind. The game Trouble. Jasper Quinn, and her dog Harlee, have been surviving in the zombie apocalypse for awhile now. They've lost all their family and now are heading for Atlanta. Their journey is cut short when Aimee and her companion are held at gun point by a boy named Carl. Once seeing that they aren't a threat (yet), he invites them to his house, where his dad is staying also. He feeds the two, after Jasper is attacked by his father of course, and invites Jasper upstairs to play a game. They make a bet and the game is on. Being the loser of the bet, Jasper has to stay with Carl. But, really, who is keeping her there? She can just get up an leave. Yet, something is making her stay...

{This story follows in the point of view of my character, Jasper Quinn, from the episodes after the prison falls. Everything that happens in the show happens in my book. I've read multiple novels like this and I hate how they are written. The different thing about mine is that the decisions of the characters DO NOT change and whatever happens to them DOES NOT change. My character is just added in. Thanks.}

Is Love Really Worth Dying For? -Carl x Reader- by TWD_Fan_Girl
54 parts Complete Mature
"Carl!" "It had to be done (Y/N)!" I started feeling the tears flood my eyes. I dropped to my knees, dropping my gun and covering my face with my hands. He came over to try to help me up but I pushed him away. "Get away from me! How could you do that?!" I screamed at him through my cries. "(Y/N)..." Still crying I shook my head and started running in another direction still hearing people firing. I wanted to get away. Away from the prison. Carl. Everything. He wouldn't have hurt me if he loved me. I started thinking as I was running. 'What if he's in trouble? What if he needs my help? Would I want to risk my life for the person I thought loved me? Is love really worth dying for?' -Ok! So this book is probably going to be a disaster but this is my first xreader so don't hate. Or if you do try to be nice about it thanks xp This STORY is not fully completed meaning it continues in my other book so the story shall go on! (As you read the storyline and details get better. I wasn't too well at writing when I started this but my writing does get better.) THIS BOOK HAS AN OFFICIAL TRAILER JUST SEARCH "Is Love Really Worth Dying For?" IN YOUR YOUTUBE SEARCH BOX AND YOU'LL SEE IT :3 Everything that happens and the dialogue that is said (Except for the small parts I make up) I hand full credit to AMC's The Walking Dead All Characters (Except for the characters I make up -(Y/N), Gabrielle, Kiara, and Gwyn-) I hand full credit to AMC's The Walking Dead I don't recommend this book for kids under 13 seeing as this book may include violence, and slight swearing. Hope you enjoy x3
