Tessa was a normal child. She had a mother, a father, and even a younger brother. That changed very quickly.
When her parents decide to transfer her to a new school in New York, Tessa expects her family to move with her. Instead her family leaves her to live with her uncle who owns a book store filled with dragons. Dragons as statues, pictures, and even the book stores mascot. When Tessa's uncle goes missing, she turns to her new friends Jackie and Blade. Together they learn more about the dragons, and learn more about the secrets Tessa's uncle has been keeping.
