"We want to help you! Can't you see that?" He exclaims frustrated, running his hand through his blonde hair.
"I don't need your help! I was doing just fine on my own." I shout back, tears threatening to spill out of my eyes.
"Fine? You were doing fine? You're falling apart. Any person who actually pays enough attention can see it. And believe it or not, we care, and we pay attention. You need us, whether you like it or not, and we aren't going to just give up because you pushed us away." I could see the anger and hurt swimming in his ocean blue eyes. He wore an expression of stone.
"I don't need you. I don't. I don't need anybody, i can take care of myself." I whisper as a tear slips down my cheek.
"Listen to me, and listen carefully." He growls, placing his hands on the sides of my head, lifting my head to look at him.
"I don't care what you do or say, you're one of us now. And we stick together, we don't give up on each other. So, go ahead, push me away, but let me tell you, I'll pull back harder and I won't let go."
