Cheren Maldrak is a boy with a broken home and cynical world view. From his father's absense and his mother's unstable mental health. He is a boy who is fully aware how insignificant his own life is. That is until him and 5 other students start to become the targets of monster attacks. From then they are lead into another world to find they are the children of mythical beings. Cheren learns that his father is a vile, greedy, and ruthless beast responsible for the death of millions and the current ruler of the magical realm by pure fear alone.
