He once told me no one knows the real him.I didn't think he meant it, and not in a good way. He is a straight A student, and everyone knows it, not to mention he is on the swim team. All that though isn't the real him, the real him hides deep within himself. ---------- "Can you please tell me what that was?" I nearly shout at him. All I get is silence. He keeps his back to me. His eyes meet mine, but there is no spark of any emotion in them. They are cold and dark making me look away not being able to hold his deadly stare. I feel uneasy under his gaze, and i feel his eyes burning a hole in the side of my face. "No, I won't explain because it's not important." He says in a low, almost, growl. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.Complete

"Why aren't you scared?" I whine and he laughs. "Come on, you wouldn't dare hurt me with that. It's too risky, and I can get out of this easily, babe." I can tell he's smirking and it's sickening. "Oh yeah? Try." I say confidently and in one swift motion, he has me on the floor. He's now straddling me with both my hands above me and the knife in his hands, pressed lightly against my throat. It was a Sunday night, family night for the Greens. They were playing a board game when it happened. At exactly 11:11 pm; a time for wishes, a sixteen year old girl wished for true love one day. At that exact moment her window smashed and something flew into her room. It was a flock of them; they attracted the house and only took one thing: the girl. She remembers it clearly, the way she screamed scared out of her mind. The way it grabbed her waist and took off. She remembers screaming for help but no one came to her rescue. Oh how she wishes that she left her safety knife in her room. Then they would be safe. Her family! She just hopes they were fine, but the conclusion that she was taken says that her family would be back to normal soon. She sighs and thinks over her life. From a little kid she was always the loner. But her family loved her to death. It all changed when she turned ten. The world was changing. She remembers the exact day at the exact time. Her birthday; she calls it the hell day. Something bad always happens on her birthday and that year was the worst so far. On February 20/2020 at exactly 2:20 On the news they had let out the horrible announcement. Scientist's experiments had gone wrong. They call them the "Stone Devils". They were escaping from the labs and into our world. Made of stone and all male. Winged creatures that come into the night. Steal and kill their prey. That's what she heard but she didn't believe it until a few nights ago. (kinda like the movie Warm Bodies)Complete

"Oh I..I'm I'm..?" The words wouldnt form. I backed up slowly as he cocked his head to the side, confusion on his face. Then he did the last thing I expected, he smiled. A face splitting smile that sent shivers down my spine. This was it I was going to die. I hit some kind of nerve and sent him over the egde. I closed my eyes preparing myself for the worst. I opened them to see him coming towards me. I backed up until I hit wall behind me. He kept coming until he was inches from my face. He slammed his hands on either side of my head, blocking any exit. "Why did you do it Eli?!", I growl with tears falling down my cheeks. Eli just stares at me with no emotion and then looks down to the ground. "Fucking answer me!", I hiss my hands flying everywhere. "It's in my nature I'm a bad boy", Eli grits his teeth. "How can you not think of me?! Your going to leave me alone " Eli murdered someone, he can be facing years or even life in prison! Just thinking about this situation makes me sick to my stomach I stood there shocked by his reaction. "It's over Gia!", Eli scowls with no emotion. "W-what?!", I scoff. "I lied, I don't fucking love you anymore now get the fuck out of my life!", He shouts his hands flying all over the place. My legs suddenly give out on me causing me to drop to the ground from how bad I was shaking. I'm now on my knees hugging myself as I sob so loud. "FUCK YOU I FUCKING HATE YOU! I GAVE YOU ALL OF ME, MY VIRGINITY, I BELIEVED YOUR PROMISES, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY I TRUSTED YOU! I-I HOPE YOU ROT IN JAIL!", I clench my fists as I stand up turning my heel around storming out of the visitation room. The door slams shut as I look down the hallway. Turning around back to stare at the door behind me. The thought of Eli not being mine anymore kills me. All of the promises, plans, and us growing old together went down the toilet. I lift my hand up placing it on the steel cold door as I squeeze my eyes shut causing one last tear to slide down my cheek.
