So this is my first time trying to write a book, I love to read I have this amazing story lined up but the problem is I'm not very good with punctuation! So please if anyone has the time to read this small opening and give tips it's much appreciated! Thank you!

So this is the first story I've written, so please go easy on me with criticisms because I'm kind of terrified about this. I'm probably going to end up changing the title at some point when I'm certain of how the story is going to go. And I'm awful at descriptions, but here goes xD Amy discovered that she had fiery powers at the age of 20, when she was in her first life threatening situation. Since then, she has been using them to fight crime in her city as the Ember. Then, a man saves her life, and she discovers that she isn't the only one struggling with powers. Dean got into an accident and was most likely going to die, but a miracle happens and Dean lives but for some reason he can't see colors any more, all he sees is a grayscale of it so they all look dull. As time progresses, Dean still never got used to the same black and white filter of the world. All he wanted was to see colors again. One day, Dean notices a student who was filled with colors. That student ended up being Castiel, the angel who saved Dean but did not restore his eyesight to normal. When Cas first found Dean, he cured him and became his guardian angel for quite some time and he eventually fell in love with him.
