A story of 2 American teens named Jon and Sara in the 1930s,40s and through the rest of there lives in the 50s,60s and 70s .after Jon's father is killed during the Japanese invasion of China. In order to avenge his father. He runs away and lies about his age in order to join the US marines . Right when Sara is of age she joins the Red Cross in the hope of finding Jon. Will Sara find Jon alive or dead will she find him at all? Jon is in love with Sara And will Jon be able to tell Sara about his feelings and if Jon can tell her will Jon act on his feelings or will he just let Sara go?Will Jon avenge his father or will he die the same way his dad did. Comments - "I have to say this is a sweet romance that brings the wonders of being a new mom (dad) in to it, Its a romance that id read again (I've already read it a couple of times XD) I love how she (rose) is not like everyone else I've read. Its refreshing, I mean she's strong, hard-headed (at times) And witty. Its funny reading about how she boss's everyone around (in a good way of course) the Adventures. The tell of a girl turning in to the women she is to day. Its breath taking, I'm gonna stop now before I say to much, But its a good book that can make you laugh just as fast as it can make you cry....
