[Once, there was a foolish leader who cared not for his subjects, and finally closed his eyes with their spears in his chest.]

The official story leaked out of the palace, now a common tale of morals among both children and the elderly.

They say that a single rumor is stronger than thousands of men.

Magic had not existed, had not been thought about- until the damned King returned to the capital city of Sumalin ten years after his fall.

He comes not with vengeance and the seeking of spreading his truth, but sorrow and longing for the very ones who had stabbed him in the back.

The once deceased, rumor-told monarch of Sumalin is Houshin Tahiro.

Swordmaster

18 parts Complete

[Completed] I may be a monster... But I am not evil. In the realm of Magika it is said that every Cape needs a Magician and every Magician a Cape. But Swordmaster Leandyr has chosen a different path -- one of sharp, tempered steel. After nearly two millennia of service to the crown of Abydon, he seeks fulfillment beyond what his position can give him. And so, the King grants him a boon. One Hiroh for his freedom. However, as doubt looms over the king's request, Leandyr finds himself questioning the crown's motives. And himself. Is he willing to betray his King for the sake of a Hiroh? Or betray a Hiroh for the sake of his freedom? Cover by @RadharaniBhattacarya
