Taeyong's thumb and pointer finger took a light hold of my chin, carefully lifting my face and bringing my eyes up to meet his gaze.
"I thought you were supposed to make me fall in love, not the other way around." Taeyong said as he slightly tilted his head.

"What makes you think I'm trying to charm you, Mr. Lee?" I asked, although it felt as though I just told a lie.
"Why did you come out here to the rose garden?" Taeyong interrogated, focusing his eyes slightly.
"Am I not allowed to?" I responded.
"Of course you are." Taeyong chuckled. "It just perplexes me why you would want to go to the rose garden alone at night."
"Are you suggesting a lady can't take a stroll in a rose garden without being accompanied?" I challenged, as I gently pushed his hand away from my jaw. "What a shame. I thought the future leader of our country would be more modernized."
Taeyong chuckled at this comment and put a hand in his pocket.
"So you just decided to take a stroll in the rose garden right when I did?" Taeyong asked, with an eyebrow slightly raised.
"Why not? It's a big garden." I responded.
"You shouldn't be alone with a man during the brink of midnight, love. Unless, of course, you have certain motives." Taeyong said, stretching out the last two words.
"What kind of woman do you take me for, Mr. Lee?" I asked, slightly offended.
"One with certain motives, Ms. Dong."
