No, this is not just a short story. I'm actually going to update this maybe once or twice every week. I don't know how many chapters there may be, because I'm pulling this story straight from a school assignment on making suspense stories.

Roman Black and Logan McClain are two best friends, they have been since grade three. A few days before the prom in their Senior year, the two friends go to a flower shop to get, well, flowers for Logan's "girlfriend." Roman also buys a small rose in a dark green pot just as a decoration in his home. However, something starts happening to Roman over the course of three months after buying that specific flower.

I still plan on finishing Loved and Lost, but it may be a while. This is the first of two books, the second of which I'm still working on. However, this story deals with abusive/toxic relationships, rape/coerced consent, self-harm, and a lot of stuff like that. Also, Unsympathetic Patton(morality) is a HUGE theme in this as he is the main antagonist. Please stay safe, I don't want anyone reading this to be hurt or triggered by its content! Deceit is unpopular in highschool, as others find him ugly with his snake-like burn, he is depressed and self harms, he has a crush on one of the most popular kids, Logan, they meet in a class and try to become friends, but Logan's friends, Patton, Roman, Virgil, try to push them further apart. Edit- 06/02/21 this was one of the first things I tried to properly write, it isn't that great but it does show how much I've improved and I find that cool now that I've gotten over most of my embarrassment about it. (Also I'm not editing anything this thing is beyond saving anyway-)
