Annabelle Wester is an unsociable, weird, and music-loving 16 year old girl who only has two friends-including her dog. It’s not that she’s ugly, nerdy, a geek of any sort-she's quite the opposite-, nor is she classified as a “goody-two-shoes," she just doesn't enjoy the company of all the blabbering idiots they call people that surround her. In her mind time is better used for reading, writing, or meaningful activities than for hanging around some ridiculous parties.
Some nights, she just mindlessly searches the internet for hours in search of something that catches her interest for more than 3 minutes at a time. On this particular night of boredom, she stumbled upon a trending fan-site called Tumblr. Her online persona "AbrasiveKitten" becomes loved by many and Tumblr asks her into a competition of popularity and hilarity with 3 other mysterious contenders for the prize of $1000. Will she come out with the money alone or will there be a little love involved?
