During the Dark war the governments collapsed and the world was destroyed. The main cause for it were the portals, which opened all around the globe. People weren't prepared when the dark beings crossed the bridge from hell.
Now centuries later, The Black Guild is a force to be reckoned with. They became the only law and order this post apocalyptic world knows. And there is no better way to fight supernatural than with
the supernatural.
Valerie has been working for The Guild for years. She was thankful that she found the place, where being born different wasn't a death certificate. However being the only one of her kind wasn't exactly a walk in the park either. Specially considering that for some reason her power had the uncanny ability to make others lose control.
Not that a specific vampire leader seemed to mind that.
