He come across two skeletons and they have reminded him of someone he loved very much and spares their lives. But then later on he kills the king.
Then one of the skeletons was crowned king and so he declares war against humankind.
Undertale belongs to Toby Fox, but the character "Katherine" belongs to SisTheSinister.

StoryFlowerFell - English Version
A long time ago, two races dominated the land: monsters and humans. The relationship between both races was conflictual, hostile, and difficult, as humans feared monsters, both for their appearances and for the great power they could possess by obtaining a human soul. Because of this, monsters were always treated as scum and creatures to be feared, creating a significant prejudice against them. However, one day, the monsters grew tired of this situation, and their king decided to start a war against all humans, thus decreeing the beginning of ruin for their own people. This war lasted a long time, but in the end, the victors were the humans, who, with great magical power derived from the souls of the wizards of the time, sealed the monsters underground. Many years passed after this event. Legends said that any human who fell into that underground would die, but a child decided to go to the place where everything had been sealed. They ended up falling but managed to survive the fall and now seek a way to escape or a reason to stay. Immense credits to Error Sannes, a YouTube channel creating its own AU of StoryFell. Without his narrative, I would have created something much more basic, so to speak. Of course, I will also create my own scenes and specific interactions, but what he has done is already very good and helps me a lot to have a direction. They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell. After the war, the monsters retreated into the deepest part of the Underground, which would be called, "Home." - Note: In chapter one i NICKNAME frisk "Sam" Due to the fact you dont figure out their name until the end of pacifist so i had to put a nickname to make it easier to write and read. Sam is a neutral name so it should be fine. - NOTE: All lines with this symbol " * " is going to be in Wing Ding font in the final release of the book. This story takes place after the events of the pacifist ending of Undertale, where all the monsters have already left the underground. However, that won't stop problems from starting again; Frisk and his friends will have to face a new threat. DISCLAIMER: This story is based on the fact that the first human fell underground in 2015 and the last in 2060. Here, Deltarune is a sequel to Undertale; therefore, Posttale is not a copy of TobyFox's creation, but an adaptation, or what is also called an "AU." This is my story for the March 2016 Watt pad contest. None of the characters are mine, all of them can be found in the video game Undertale by Toby Fox. The cover photo is also not mine. King Asgore and queen Torial have fallen and the resistance army has taken over. Led by the the human child Frisk the future of the underground is bleak. In its moment of darkness a single ray of light stands against it. Chara and the remains of the free underground are determined to free their home from Frisk and the lieutenants leading his armies. The spear woman Undyne. The mad scientist Alphys and her amalgamates. Finally the skeleton duo and their army of bones stand against the free Underground.
