Sequel to Upon Wings Of Change.
The dragonets are flourishing; both those in the park and those helping the Kymari.
As the first dragonets to hatch in the Kymari civilization, Tessa and her brother are paving a new path as they grow up and learn how to fit into the world. New beginnings are often great things, but sometimes shadows from the distant past come calling.

This version shifts from Tasha's POV to Tessa's. (Different than the "only Tessa's POV" in Tessa's Story.)

-----------------------------------
I did not originally intend to write a sequel to Upon Wings of Change, but due to a rather large number of requests from numerous individuals, here it is - my first-ever sequel...

UNVEILING SECRETS IS A RISKY CHOICE. The limits of Reef Beach aren't strong enough to stop Sapphire's curiosity. She's been so curious about the whole idea of never going out into the world. Sapphire wasn't going to sit around and wait, so sneaking out must be the right idea. But even being cautious and quiet isn't enough for the dangers that lurk around to stop them from tangling Sapphire into them. When she accidentally catches herself in a lot of trouble, she needs to recover and fight back. But, then she gets into a bigger mess . . . . Staying close to the shadows in the moonlit night, she crawls her way in to find the answers. How did she end up in Reef Beach? Who are her parents - and why did they leave her there? How come Reef Beach is so limited? When her friends are in danger and she finds out about the raging war between the NightWings and SeaWings, Sapphire needs to act up. But finding the answers to all her questions isn't as simple as waving a wing. Finding new secrets, new friends, and even unveiling a prophecy. More questions come to her. Can she fulfill this prophecy? Will Sapphire succeed to stopping the war? Or will the war drag on endlessly with more dragons dying one by one . . . . [This is Book 1 of The Twilight Star Prophecy Arc] <°*^--------------------------*{O}*--------------------------^*°> The book series "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me and rightfully belongs to Tui T. [Wings of fire - Evolution AU] What if Darkstalker listened to Fathom? The dragonets of destiny never had a destiny. They were hatched just like every other dragon, on the rim of war, ready to fight for their tribes and die for their world. Except, they aren't the exact same dragonets that you know, having never lived under the mountain, never growing up together. Though they may still be the dragonets that you remember. -Daily updates- From chapter 2: Uhar woke, blinking in confusion at the light. He'd never seen anything this bright in his life. Looking out over the cliff, he saw the source, like a blinding flame that was thousands of times more powerful than any spark. It was round and it rested in the sky far above him, illuminating the ground below. It was strange in more ways than that. Since it seemed as if the sky itself was broken. The whiteness that had completely covered it before had moved. Revealing a bright endless blue behind. There were still patches of that whiteness far above, but they seemed fluffy now, no longer a blanket of dread covering the world. They were all different shapes and sizes, but they had none of the previously uniform aesthetic. The sky was turning bright colors as he watched, reds and oranges, reflecting off those white things into pinks and purples as well, it was the most wonderful thing that Uhar had ever seen, colors he'd never even imagined were in that sky. He watched the world in awe, feeling his ears rise with excitement. If this was the world his ancestors had left behind, he couldn't imagine why they'd ever wanted to leave.

THE TRUTH LIES AHEAD, BUT IS IT WORTH THE JOURNEY? Futureseer, a dragonet who has a love for exploration and discovery, had always wondered what the world was like outside the Night Kingdom - eventually "semi-living" out in the forest on his own. His brother, Silverthought, had mysteriously vanished one day from the NightWing Queen, Moondancer's grasp. Futureseer always wondered what happened. The young NightWing always had many questions, seeking the truth. Not too long ago, he saved a young dragonet who turned out to be the daughter of Nightroar and Emerald. Troubles had swirled around them, but together, they managed to make it out. But along the way, they discovered a possible world-ending prophecy; a great evil who may take over all the kingdoms. Futureseer needs to find one of the Twilight Stars, the prophecy's talismans. Adventures and discoveries wait ahead of them, new possibilities he never thought could happen. But, will Futureseer be able to find a Twilight Star in time before all is too late? [This is Book 2 of The Twilight Star Prophecy Arc] <°*^--------------------------*{O}*--------------------------^*°> The book series "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me and rightfully belongs to Tui T. Sutherland. The world and tribes are all by Tui T. Sutherland. I only own the writing and the OCs I made (Also Reef Beach and Town of Cactus!). No one ever knows the whole story... Nestled deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, something is emerging. Kept in absolute secrecy, it seeps into a fading town, quietly shared from person to person. For Alden Bensen, a directionless high school graduate, this discovery could mean an escape from his empty existence. To Rachel DuValle, perpetually underestimated and dismissed by the world, magic represents a chance to become something much greater than herself. In the face of an unsuspecting world, their decisions shape the growth of a budding society discovering untold power. This potent force offers anyone the power to change humanity forever - or send it cascading into swift and total annihilation. ----- The Last Science is an ongoing science-fiction / low-fantasy web novel series. New chapters will be posted on Fridays for as long as it takes to tell the whole story. For Wattpad only, chapters are split up by individual scenes-if you would prefer the whole chapters in single pieces, please visit my homepage or another site where I post this story, thanks! Wings of Fire: Lemming's Story by Echoes_of_Polaris
11 parts Complete
NOTE: The following is a fanfiction inspired by Tui T Sutherland's "Wings of Fire" saga. "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me, and much of the material included in this story is fanon, not canon, though several canon characters will be making appearances throughout the story. Taking place during the events of "Book 1: The Dragonet Prophesy" and the War of SandWing Succession, this is the story of Lemming. Lemming is a young IceWing of middle class rank, who has been a loyal soldier on Blaze's side in the war for a couple years. She's small for an IceWing of her age, but has been able to use this to her advantage to become a successful soldier and survive in the war. However, after a battle takes a turn for the worse, Lemming is left as one of the few survivors and imprisoned in the SkyWing arena. This new world is more brutal than the battles she'd fought in the war, and the SkyWings don't kill for necessity -they kill for entertainment. Can Lemming survive in this new kill or be killed world, or will she be just another body to be swept from the arena sand? NOTE 2: Some of the wording and phrasing of Pt4 comes straight from "The Dragonet Prophesy". That wording was created by Tui T. Sutherland, not me, though I am using it for descriptive purposes in those specific scenes, which first appeared in "The Dragonet Prophesy". All chapter cover artwork made and designed by me. The cover of the book was drawn and colored by Jennifer Ellzey, and title arrangements were designed by me. Happy Reading :)
