Melanie Stryker is your typical girl-nextdoor type of girl. With short brown hair, hazel grey eyes and at a height of 5'1. She lives with her teenage brother and their dog at a suitable apartment on the posh side of a small city called Portman Joe's.

And when this Mysterious man suddenly emerges into the city. She is intrigued but is set to not go near him with the amount of rumour going around in the city. She vows to herself not to mingle around "shady" people. But when her own brother gets tangled up in the guy's shitty "profession" , she is forced to get get herself tangled.
