Kate is a stubbornly introverted law student working at Dunkin' Donuts to help pay off her massive student loans. Jamie is her co-worker, a beautifully disturbed and financially struggling theater director. Kate falls for him hard, and she can't help but say yes when he asks her to audition for the play he's directing in the spring. The only problem is, she's never acted before, she's not much of a singer, and she definitely can't dance.
