Awake at Midnight

Jade was a decently normal 16 year old girl. Sure her appearance made her look a little odd, with her red hair and blue eyes, but she lived like a normal teenager. She had a boyfriend, Derek, but he was a little controlling and pushy. She has a friend, Amber, who helps her through her toughest times. She comes from a loving family, gets good grades, and is in the middle of the social food chain. All of this will change when she meets Ash. She and Ash don't get along very well, in fact they barely say a word when they first meet, but she can't deny that there is something wonderfully strange about him. This story may seem cliche and unoriginal at at first but it is far from ordinary.
