The imposing Lord Erik Nicholas Rosemont was everything a woman could ever want. With dark looks, a fat purse and perfected manners he was quite the catch even if a bit broody. However, the unfortunate accident which came quite unexpectedly changed that forever. In more ways than one. When a Spanish Countess with no verifiable history and a silent nature falls into the attentions of the London gossips, it is quite a reprieve for Erik. No longer the center of whispers and pity, he can finally learn to fall back into step with life. Or so it would seem.

29 parts Complete

|| Book 1 of The Shadow's Melody || As a maid here at the new Opéra Populaire I can certainly sense something different. Something missing. It lacked him. The Opera Ghost who disappeared. I know I should let it go. I know I shouldn't constantly think about a dead man. A murderer. But I simply can't. I can't forget about that man I fell in love with those many years ago. I yearned to hear his angelic voice again. I begged for it. Hoped for it. Prayed for it. I called for him in my dreams. The man they called The Phantom of the Opera. I would never have guessed that my hopes and prayers would soon be answered.
