Four years have passed. War has broke out among clans in the Underland. The rats are turning against the Regilians. Gregor is mentioned in yet another prophecy. He is supposedly their only hope. Does Gregor have the strength turn return after the loss of his bond? Or will Luxa carry this burden of pain upon her shoulders alone? Is the fight worth it? "Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance." 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7

Please do not be fooled by the name. This tale is about Gregor. I have read Suzanne Collins' Underland Chronicles several times. To me, the Code of Claw is a heart-wrenching tragedy. I do not wish to leave Gregor, Luxa and the Underland in war-torn despair. As such, I have written this story in an effort to heal some of the wounds which the Chronicles may have left in you. This, hopefully without taking away from the original epic - for it is truly an epic. Thanks, Shnarfinbarf DISCLAIMER: I own nothing that is Collins'.
