Bellona Gulch feels alone in this world, her mother recently died and her dad is now an alcoholic. Iris Ladder is a tough, snarky, and sarcastic runaway from the law. The two stumble upon each other and a magical world filled with ghosts, dragons, fairies becoming necromancers. But what will happen when Iris's past catches up to her?
