He could hear the thunderous footsteps of the Beowulfs, but if he was worried, he didn't show it, standing with his hands behind his head, idly tapping his foot on the ground. The Huntsman heard the town behind him go silent, and he turned to look. Sure enough, everyone had gotten themselves safely inside, and all doors were closed.
