this is a story about a gal who is allergic to the sun, no she isn't a vampire but Star might as well be one with her life style. living by night with her pet owl Twilight who is a barn owl, twilight does most of the errands for star. Star lives in the woods and will only go into town when necessary. Star is 15 and realizes that she needs an education so she goes in search of one but one problem, the town doesn't have any night schools.While Star doesn't have much in her life things begin to change when foes become friends.
