Because that was the type of thing that happened in fictional books, right? Repeat, fictional books. Except, the boy that wasn't even real who stuck with her through everything, was right there, sitting in the seat in front of her, blond hair, deep blue eyes and all. He wasn't supposed to be real, but he wasn't just imaginary anymore.
