Kacy Gold a Paediatric Surgeon is tasked with taking care of her niece after his wife dies of cancer and he dies in a fire. She is left with her six year old niece Macy who she loves world without end. While taking care of her niece she meets Eric Heart a Cardiologist who thinks of her as an enigma.
