"You do too..." He chuckled, showing his dimples.
"Yeah, but I-" He shut me up with a short small kiss that lingered on my lips. It was merely a peck, but it felt like an eternity. I loved it.
"I really like you, Bennett... I really do."
"M-me too..."

Bennett O'Connell, a sarcastic, witty, school failure likes to vape and smoke weed. He comes from a loving family and all, but his girlfriend is the problem. She'd beat him and abuse him, telling him "I'm doing this cause I love you" while doing it. Bennett is still recovering from her emotional and physical abuse. He carries around those scars, finding trust issues and becoming numb to pain. That's until he meets Oliver.

Oliver Spacey has lots of friends, not enough to be popular though. If there was a status in his high school, he'd be right below popular. Sure, everyone knew him as the "hot science kid" but otherwise... he's a nobody. Without that label, nobody knows him. He comes from a loving background; everyone loves him. He has no problems whatsoever except the fact that he's in love with some blond wreck in his science class.
