3 months after the events of the Trident Thief, Zoe and Priscilla are now staying comfortable at  Camp Half Blood with their friends and enjoying there winter at Camp until they are tasked with bringing a sixteen year old girl name Phoenix Carson to the grounds of Camp Half Blood and who is revealed to be the daughter of Hephaestus god of fire and blacksmith. Though when the curse of Hephaestus hits Rome and begins to affect cabin nine it's up to Zoe, Priscilla, Phoenix to venture through Rome and defeat the curse with the help of Leo Valdez and Calypso.
