Tom has lived most of his life with his friends Edd and Matt, till his old "friend", Tord came back and destroyed their home. Tom started geting really depressed due to some issues, and isolated himself from the people around him, inclusing Edd and Matt.
Due to his depression, Tom became a bad alcoholic, and would not eat much, just drink.
During a normal walk through the mall, an unespected encounter with the little communist will take a little spin in his life.

When Tord was confronted about him going soft about his old "friends" he's sent to go collect some things from them. Once he spends time with them he starts to get a bit...regretful..of his mission. Tom has been feeling pained after the incident with Tord and his giant robot. And, yes, this was pain of loss or hurt, but this was also because he had been experiencing symptoms of pancreatic cancer. This story is going to have chapters, quoting the song Cancer by My Chemical Romance. Like some TomTord fanfics, this takes place after The End. Tord comes to pay his apologies for what he did in the past. They forgive him, but Matt is keeping an eye on him. By that, he's making sure he won't try anything with Tom. Why should he care?
