Not long after he let her go, Erik made a resolution: become worthy of Christine's love. After intensive surgery, he now looks like any other man, free to walk out of the shadows - if he can bring himself to do so.
Now, as Christine starts life anew in Minnesota to attend college, he finds her again. However, a changed face can not erase the scars of the mind or spirit. Somehow, the two must heal - together or apart.
