A sole survivor from a holdout-gone-awry, Corporal Derrick Williams is rescued by a squad of secretive Spartans, as they try to make their way back to safety. However, the Covenant have other plans, and the group will have to make their way through an army of Sangheili, Jiralhanae, and more to reach the UNSC Eidelweiss.
Set just before the events of Halo 4, this story follows Corporal Williams as he and Delta Squad race to reach the Eidelweiss before the Covenant strand them on an uncharted jungle planet. Can they reach safety before time runs out, or will something in the shadows stop them dead in their tracks?
