Given such circumstances, it's no wonder Bobby's lost Hope to the point of being suicidal, if it means NOT being abused anymore. Nikki's always been seen as the wild and reckless sum-bitch who doesn't care about anybody, but that all Changes when he stumbles across a pet store that's really anything but. His problem's really that he cares too much, and he's about to find someone who means more to him than Life itself - someone he'd willingly lay down his own Life for without a second Thought. Even after circumstances part them for a while, Nikki's prepared to help his rescue Heal or die trying, but how long will that take? More importantly, will Bobby even be receptive to such help, and from a perfect stranger at that? *Note: Even though I despise putting trigger warnings on anything I write, I'd suggest NOT reading the prologue, if you're triggered by even mere mentions of rape. (I in no way mean any disrespect to Mötley Crüe/Nikki Sixx at all. Some events that take place in this story are from "The Dirt" and "The Heroin Diaries", I take no credit for what I put in this story that relates to those books. He'd to learn how to live without the Cat he felt he'd been robbed of so much Time with when he passed on easily only halfway through his Lifetime, not to mention figure out how to be a single parent after having never been such. But finding out he'd a second mate - generally a rarity amongst Nekos and Zorros alike - certainly helped with that. Enter GN'R bassist Duff McKagan, the blonde giant of an Irishman he'd been friends with for as long as he'd known his late husband, give or take. Finding out they were mated since Duff already had a steady relationship and family of his own was definitely hard, but they managed to find a Balance - one that even included a surprise kit. Said kit wasn't the only surprise, though - there were plenty more of those, right down to the blonde bassist's very heritage, and it went deeper than just having Witchcraft in his veins. Many'd say that such things were just strokes of dumb Luck, and maybe that's true for this unique couple - or more aptly, Love triangle. Forget the Luck of the Irish - this is all about the Luck of the Fox.
