When Link and Zelda both awoke in the Shrine of Resurrection, they had no idea what they were getting themselves into. In fact, they didn't know anything at all. Now, as they clumsily trudge through a strange yet familiar land, a dark, menacing force writhes in the ruins of a castle, gathering it's strength for one final strike that will grant it it's 100 year old revenge.

Book 1: The Couple Series The Calamity Ganon no longer plagues the land of Hyrule, at least, not that the hero, Link, or the princess, Zelda, is aware of. After defeating the Calamity, our heroes consult with Impa, who informs them that due to the extensive damage, the prospect of rebuilding an entire kingdom is simply unfeasible. Opting to live regular lives as simple villagers in this new era, Link and Zelda choose to make their home in Hateno Village. However, neither one can ignore one issue they've noticed: even with Calamity Ganon sealed, his monsters still roamed the land. Choosing to investigate, Link prepares Zelda for travel in this new wild-covered land. After receiving a letter from King Dorephan regarding a malfunction with Vah Ruta, the two embark on their quest to investigate the remaining monsters and the error with the Divine Beasts, while also learning and acting upon the feelings they had set aside for so long. Little do they know, someone may be guiding them toward something far more challenging than they realize. But while she knows that Link belongs with Princess Zelda according to the story, that's not how their adventures will play out. Sila becomes Link's Spark of Hope that gives him strength to push back Calamity Ganon and defend Hyrule. With the power of all three, will they push back the darkness and save Hyrule? {Not a Silent Link Story - He's a man of little words in this story but I'll leave the talking heads off to Sila, promise.}

Amnesia was a funny thing. It strips you of all memories, both good and bad. But what it didn't take away from Link was his caring heart. He wasn't a man who had time to deal with or worry about things like memories anyway. All he cared about was doing what was right. But just because Link had no memories, or any interest to reclaim them, didn't mean they wouldn't return to haunt him. Ever since Link woke up, strange things have been happening around the land. Horrific creatures, not quite monster and not quite human, begin appearing at night to terrorize the denizens of Hyrule. Link, not one to simply let such evils do as they please, decides to investigate into the matter as he travels across the land to find a way to destroy these creatures. It should've been just another job for him, just a problem the people needed solved, just another errand for the incarnation of Hylia's hero. But as he investigates, he is haunted by his past. Link's mind cannot remember what happened. But his heart did. He still feels what he lost, what he failed to protect, even after one hundred years. That's what draws something toward Link, the very same evil that created the creatures he faces. It follows and watches him from the shadows, taunting him, waiting for him to remember the past he's forgotten, waiting for the pain to resurface, waiting for the time he can no longer carry the weight of it all. As he journeys on his quest to defeat Ganon and save Princess Zelda, Link must learn to contend with another ancient evil that taints the land, all while facing the ghosts of his forgotten past. Link and Zelda's love is put at stake when trust and loyalty are tested. Can the two break through the laws to pursue their love, or will they give in and follow the path chosen for them? Nintendo own the characters of Link and Zelda, as well as the location of Hyrule and Hateno Village, but the rest of the character are all my own, as well as... the other location.
