Ignoring his question I managed to choke out after quite some time;
“Is anything you told me true? Because I'm getting real sick of this
lying thing you've got going.”

Living in a tropical get-away, sounds perfect. Well, it was perfect. Lets notice the past tense there though. For Evangeline "Evie" Somers, it was. She had
the sand, sun, surf all to herself and family and not a care in the world.

But that all went down the drain when they moved to America.

Now all she has are a bunch of twisted memories,
she's lost in a place she thought she knew,
her boyfriend thinks she's lost her marbles
and to top it off, she's not even sure if she's still human.
