A 15 year old witch named Ethel Sweeney has lived with her two dads, Gabriel and Adam, for years. They've been living in the mortal world for, what seems like, an eternity. They finally decide to move to Sleepaway Meadows, a very large town built in the 1600's as a safe place for wizards and witches. She meets many new people, such as Summer Bray, Aiden Graves, Abigail Corey, and most importantly Aiden's sister, Bianca, who Ethel develops a "small" crush on. Though, you can't live without enemies. The three popular girls, Lolita Bladell, Trisha Adams, and Marina Clarke resent them. While Ethel and her group of friends constantly explore nearly every place in Sleepaway Meadows, loads of things attempt to stop them- whether it being Lolita, or, something much more sinister ...
