Three weeks after the events of the Hybrid Experiment, Nathan and Voltflare had only just begun to settle down to have a normal life when Voltflare begins to become afflicted with numerous dizzy spells and visions of an ominous "void-world." SOOO we obviously didn't make the deadline lol. This story is unfinished and will remain that way. This is the best example of a rushed concept with no actual plot lol. I wrote blind and hated most of what I had written. I've redesigned this concept and I'm rewriting it with a stronger concept and a laid-out plot. I will release the rewrite when it's done. I'm keeping this published so I can look back at my growth and so others can also see the transformation if they are interested. Pokemon coexist with humans, and both work together in order to further progress into the future. But what if the future wasn't as "sunshine and rainbows" as they thought. The world became plagued with a deadly deep-red, smoke-like miasma that devoured and corrupted all that was unfortunate in getting in its way. Because of this, most of the population was forced into multiple civilizations protected under highly defensive domes. But one city in particular, stood out more than the others. The largest protected bastion located in the region of Neo Radia. It's a region home to the strongest resistance, the Royal Guards; highly skilled Pokemon trainers who protect their dome civilization and find ways to be able to reclaim the outside world. One in particular, a shy, quiet Vaporeon, with a similar past, latched onto him, and the two began to grow close, slowly uncovering each other's secrets and breaking each other out of their reclusive shells. Will the brutality of the real world tear them apart, or will their relationship be able to flourish, rising above the harshness of the reality? This is a story written after being inspired by many others. With no intention to copy from other stories, this intricate world has been created for a sweet, adventure-filled, action-packed story, with a touch of romance, exploring the difficulties of life on the run and touching on a multitude of themes. Pokémon walk and move as they normally would, with the exception of some quadrupeds preferring to move as bipedal. The cover art is done by myself! It's not great, but I wanted to at least do something cute and original for my story! Last but not least, interactions are greatly appreciated. I love reading insightful comments and interacting with the people who enjoy my story, or even getting feedback, as I'm very new to this and somewhat self conscious about it, but I aim to grow with time. PG-13 (Shadow Series) Flora grew up without a care in the world, living on her own in a meadow with her Pokémon. Team Galactic had invaded her home and destroyed what she loved the most. Taking her Pokémon and home from her, she was willing to leave the place she grew up in to find her only family. For a girl who was seen as a little kid by the way she acts, it wouldn't be easy to go on a journey alone. A boy named Flame, who visited the town for unknown reasons, decided to volunteer to support her and make sure she doesn't get into trouble with the gang causing trouble across Sinnoh Flora had to build up her strength and new team to overcome anything that gets in her way. She's eager to get things done quickly, but Flame was there to offer his guidance and protection. Flame is a mysterious stranger who happened to come out of nowhere, but the two felt instantly comfortable in front of one another as soon as they met. There was a connection they couldn't understand, and Flame was determined to keep her away from harm, but at a distance. Secrets will be revealed and memories will be remembered. There are important key elements to discovering a new meaning to what happened to them in their childhood. This involves having to get involved with an evil organization that wants to destroy the world. Happiness will have to wait, since there is willpower that needs to be awaken.
