When I was twelve, I wanted to be many things. Demigod, tribute, shadowhunter, sorcerer, divergent. They called me nuts and said that my books were fictional fantasies. They said it was all in my head. They lied to us. We spat in their faces just as they had lied in ours. We demanded an explanation! Alas, we got none...who are we, you ask? The ones you lied to.
