It's 1921 and prohibition is in full swing. Anne is young, rich, and lazy. All she wants is a glass of wine. Her husband is barely around. Anne's maid, Cora, is bright, cynical, and quick witted. John is an obnoxious upstart who is blatantly in love with his employer's wife, Anne.
Anne's bored. So, why not plan a murder?
This story was originally written as a short play. I have re-written it into a short story.

Despite all her friend's advice to leave him, she continue sticking with him until she was taken as a payment for a debt he owe. A debt he owes the deadliest leader of the dreaded mafia ever know. Now, at a much more mature age, but with a still youthful appearance thanks to a genetic anomaly, he is forced to take things up where he left them, with an upcoming wedding to his pregnant fiancée and much unresolved business as the town masked protector. But he has his modern-day wife with him, who has her own connections to this place and time, and things get more complicated by the day. Will he be able to figure out how to get his wife back home?
