Snowdrop ➳ A Hunger Games Story {Wattys 2019}
NOTE: This is a re-write of the original book, however I did not want to simply edit the existing chapters since it might not qualify for the Wattys, and deleting chapters gets rid of the reads for that particular chapter. "And now we honour our fiftieth anniversary. As a reminder that two rebels died for each Capitol citizen, every district will be required to send twice as many tributes." Melia Cressview. Ember Cressview. Bailey Birling. Haymitch Abernathy. All from District 12. All from the Seam. All in the Hunger Games. Twenty-five years before Katniss Everdeen ever sets foot in the arena, there is another group from District 12 who grows in the hearts of those in the Capitol. Each comes with skills and attributes that will help or harm them in the arena, and each has one thing they are fighting for. Whether they live or die, these will be the biggest Games yet.Complete
Haymitch: A Hunger Games Prequel
The day of the Second Annual Quarter Quell. The 50th Hunger Games. It was a day that would change the life of 16-year-old Haymitch Abernathy forever. Twice the number of usual tributes were chosen; 4 from each district, and Haymitch had been one of those unlucky 4. The odds had not been in his favor that year, but he had a reason to fight; for his loved ones, for the glory of District 12. Despite his circumstances, Haymitch remained somewhat optimistic about his chances of victory, promising his family that he would never back down no matter what happens to him in that arena. Throughout his journey he will make choices beyond anything he could have imagined, and make mistakes that are irreversible-especially in the Capitols eyes. But he does it all out of spite, because he had the heart and mind of a victor, even from the very beginning. This book contains depictions of violence (blood, death, etc.), as well as implied mentions of suicide. If you are a sensitive reader, I suggest you read with caution.Complete

To Save a Life I Didn't Have // Haymitch Abernathy
Eighteen year old Dapheline Havermoon and her older brother, Dawferty, are all the family they have and all the family they need. With their small one room house in the seam of District 12, Daph works in the mines and Daw works out of the Hob for Ripper. For them, it works...until the 55th annual Hunger Games rolls around. A week before Dapheline's nineteenth birthday when she ages out of the requirement for the reaping, she becomes eager to get her last one over with. But the odds are never in the favor of those who underestimate. Twenty-one year old Haymitch Abernathy is just about to start his fifth year of mentoring for the Hunger Games. The anniversary of his entire family's deaths is nearing and he is less than eager to start yet another process of losing two tributes to the elements of an arena and the nature of The Capitol. That is until he meets the oldest tribute who has ever been reaped and he realizes he might just have a fighter-and a victor-on his hands. 16+ TRIGGER WARNING: This book contains very strong mature themes including language, non consensual acts of violence and assault, extreme gore, talk of suicide and self harm, sexual activity, and of course the usual dark themes of the Hunger Games novels. Triton Plath is voted in for the first Quarter Quell of the twenty-fifth annual Hunger Games. He feels as if it's unfair, backwards that he was voted in, but doesn't spend much time complaining. This year it's different, where the tributes will be allowed brief days of training, a chariot ride with extravagant costumes, and a Capitol-made arena, full of more than just weapons in what they call the cornucopia, which promises potential and possibility. He must push through the interview, the glares from District 1 and 2, and a provocative district partner, and do all he can to survive in the arena. Otherwise, he faces certain death. The 50th Hunger Games, Second Quarter Quell
Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen... To the Fiftieth Hunger Games and Second Quarter Quell!! This Quarter Quell, each district will send four tributes into the arena. Who will survive? Who will be our Victor this year? Are you ready??? We all know Haymitch Abernathy wins the Second Quarter Quell. However, we ask ourselves how did he do it? Haymitch was one of four tributes sent from District Twelve, one of forty-eight tributes. The storyline is from Suzanne Collin's book The Hunger Games and Catching Fire. The characters (with the exceptions of Maysilee Donner, Haymitch Abernathy, Effie Trinket, President Snow, Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark and Ceasar Flickerman) are my own characters. This fanfiction has some graphic descriptions of death, illness and fighting. Reader discretion is advised.Complete
The 150th Annual Hunger Games
Another Quarter Quell has arrived! This year, the Quell demands something that the Districts have never done... The first tribute reaped in each District has to choose who will be accompanying them in the Arena. However, the person they choose must still be eligible for the Games. Who will be reaped? Who will they choose as their District partner? What strange and exciting twists will the Arena hold this year? Who will win... *This book has nothing to do with my other Hunger Games book, The 125th Annual Hunger Games. It's just another Quell idea I had. BUT I would advise reading my other book first because there are a few spoilers mentioned in this book that have to do with The 125th Annual Hunger Games! ALSO, I'm sorry if someone has already used this idea or if you find something in it that's similar to your own book! If so, it's purely a coincidence. *All rights go to Suzanne Collins. *Updates are VERY often! I usually only go no longer than three days on my updates. With my last book, I updated sometimes two chapters a day, so yeah! Enjoy! :)Complete
