Poetry: I wanted to try writing a happy poem for once lol
i wanted to capture the sweet, innocent feeling of young love, before tinder and sex and nudes come along to fuck it all up.
inspired by the song 'put your head on my shoulder' by the amazing Paul Anka (my favourite song of all time, which has actually been stuck in my head for the last week too) and also a creative short story i wrote a while ago with a similar theme. if u would like me to post that short story too then maybe shoot me a message or something <3

⚠️ This is a true story, unfortunately. 🖤1st in a series ✅Completed I labeled this as teen "fiction" because my target age group usually thinks of self-help books or text books when they hear "non-fiction" and don't realize a memoir reads like any other fiction story. ☣️SYNOPSES: I'm finally over the embarrassment and ready to tell someone what happened. What I Once Called Love: The Drafts
This is my story, or rather a compilation of stories that spans more than a decade. Each piece is written from a place of truth with the exception of the names mentioned. The book itself will broken into sections, with each representing a different moment of my life that was instrumental in helping me define what love is and what it is not. This is a handful of chapters available for preview. Keep in mind, these pieces are drafts so they are in no way perfect so please be patient with me. Hello August, Please Be Good To Me
I look out into the parking lot and squint to make sure I'm not going crazy. Walking up with a bouquet of flowers is Justin. He's wearing a muscle tee, and my eyes settle on the part of his tattoo that's not covered up by the plastic holding the flowers. When he reaches me, I feel my face heat up and before I can say anything, he hands me the yellow roses. "I think we need a do over, and I'm not letting you go. But um...here's to friendship until then. If you'll accept." He looks so flustered and unsure of himself as I eye the flowers but don't take them immediately. It takes a long time for me to both find my voice and lose my pride. Finally I do something neither of us expect, and hug him by his neck. "Okay," I whisper, and don't let go.Concluida

I'm gonna get him killed. Someday. Somehow. I'm gonna get him killed. And the worst part? He knows I will. "Turn this into a fucking game, I'm begging you to make a bet out of it, just to see how long you'll last trying to change it before you realize not only you, but no one can. Genie gives you three wishes? Not enough. Every single memory taken out of my brain? Still only got one reality. A gun to my head....? You'll know my last words even if I don't get to say them." My Teddy
The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" I ask, swinging my feel a little. He shakes his head shyly, his mouth not moving at all. Geez! Why do I want to hear this dude talk so much? "Okay, that's fine. I can give you a nickname." I offer happily. He looks up from his book, raising his eyebrows. I just stare for a moment. He has nice eyes. Pretty brown chocolate orbs. They remind me so much of....... "Teddy." He shakes his head immediately, frowning. "What, why not? You remind me of my old teddy bear. He was a good listener and he didn't talk much..... just like you." I say softly, tilting my head. He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!? I stuff my hands into my pockets, walking down the busy street. Forget about her. She's just a annoying pretty girl, she'll go away. Everybody does. She HAS to go away. *Spoiler alert*: she doesn't. Don't get close to people or they'll end up getting hurt. That's my mindset. I've been through enough of that. This girl doesn't belong in my world anyway. She's too innocent. *Mature content* {Just a quick update, I am basically rewriting the story. Lo•ve /luh-v/ noun Love is a funny thing. You expect it to be cupcakes and rainbows, if you find the one for you. You expect it to be easy. But no, if you find the one, you have to fight for them. It'll never be easy. Love is not a plan. It is a certain beginning that has no end. Love is real, it happens. But when it does it is always incredibly messy. ............... I am standing behind some big tent, with him by my side. Suddenly the song "Put your head on my shoulder" starts to play. He looks at me expecting something. "No." I chuckle, knowing what he wants. "May I have this dance, Tori West?" He smirks. "But-" "Come on, just follow my lead." His smirk turns into a real smile. His hands snake around my waist, pulling me closer. I wrap my hands around his neck, and rest my head on his shoulder. He hums the song slowly as we sway along the slow music. This is a moment I'd want to last forever. To Warm Frozen Fingers // A Short Story Collection
I like to write. As you may be able to tell. I haven't been very good at writing lately. As you may also have been able to tell. That's why I've decided to write a short story collection. The stories won't interlink, some may vary wildly and you might even wonder if they were written by the same person (the answer is yes). Overall, I'm aiming to write 23 stories, which was one per day for 23 days but I failed at that (*seethes* college work...) so now I'm just aiming to finish it before winter is over! The stories won't be very long - I'm only allowed to write for 10 minutes per story, just to get me going again (and literally warm my fingers, I get really really cold fingers for some reason) and the most I've ever written in that time is around 500 words. Everyone has a dark secret that they never want shared. but can these two fall in love without there life changing secrets being revealed to one another. Theodore Jones a london boy living in america. Is it by choice...well... He lived with his father in London until he was 14 and life changing events threatened his safety so he was sent to America to live with his mom. sad thing is, he was a result between to heart broken people who just wanted to have sex so when Theo's mom got pregnant with him whilst already having 4 small boys who's father just died, she thought it was better to send him to his father and never speak to him until he was 14. This resulted in Theo feeling alone unloved and unwanted living in a mansion full off people who was meant to call family. Now brooklyn live in new York before a tragic incident up rooted her whole life and moved it to california, night mares and fears consumes her everyday. What happens when to broken people meet. Will they lift eachother out of the darkness or will they suffer in silence

In which I fall in love with my brother's best friend. ***** "Don't pretend like you don't feel anything." His voice is low, sending shivers down my spine. "What do you mean?" "You know damn well what I mean." "I don't know what you're talking about." I pretend to ignore him, flipping some pages in my book. "Come on. I have all these assignments waiting. Aren't you supposed to teach me tonight?" "It depends on what you want me to teach." He smirks, his voice sounding even more dangerous. ***** I thought that my brother was the most popular guy in school, but as soon as I step into my university life, I realize how wrong I was.
