Alice is a girl who just loves to hike, that is until she faints of heat exhaustion and a family of three finds her laying in the woods. The mysterious family consists of Blade, who is very popular at school with the girls, but ignores all of them. Kane who is all the time grumpy, or it seems, and Cally who seems to be nice and helpful. Alice grows custom to the family after about a couple days, but when she learns the family's secret, she doesn't know what to think!
