Kurt and Sammy are siblings, who's older cousin Charli is working on a new device tentatively called the Midnight - a device that will allow people to share their dreams. When Charli allows Kurt, Sammy and their struggling friend Tom to test run the Midnight, things slowly begin to take a turn for the worse. Kurt loses sleep. Tom begins to see apparitions of his deceased friend Sarah.
