Catherine Moore had the most loving family and a perfect life she deserved. Her family adopted her when she was eight. Everything in her life was quixotic or so she thought, but her perfect life is snipped in a matter of seconds when she heard the news of her parents' sudden demise in a car crash. Trying to get through with her grief and penurious luck she meets Noah. Noah appears in her life out of nowhere doing all the perfect things. The question is why? She soon discovers that her biological mother, the woman who abandoned Catherine at the doorsteps of an Orphanage twenty years ago, was not a stranger to Noah. All this while accidentally Noah and Catherine finds themselves amidst cataclysmic events in a world they are oblivious to. But soon Catherine realizes Noah isn't oblivious to this new world they got sucked into. Is it a simple coincidence or will she unravel a deeper secret in the quest? Will the series of events break Catherine or will she come out unfazed?

"He seemed like a puzzle to me, and I really liked solving puzzles. But somehow, I don't think that I would ever be able to solve this one." Amelia Heart, with her large smile and her infectious laugh, is what most people would think has the perfect life. They would watch as she went back to her beach house, as she went out of her way to stop and chat to her neighbours, as she would get the perfect grades. She was everything you wanted to be, and yet nobody had gotten close enough to her to understand her life in this small town at all. When her plans of leaving suddenly change, and she is forced to start attending the local school, her life takes a route that she hadn't accounted for. A new group of friends, a chance at a normal teenage life, even a potential love interest - things that Amelia had never even thought about happening after everything she'd been through. But happiness is only temporary in her life, and she knew that. It wasn't surprising to her when her past began to catch up with her present, it was simply a good thing that it had taken as long as it had. Things start happening in Amelia's life that simply don't make sense, even to her. They do say you should always keep an eye over your shoulder, especially when you know you're being hunted, but for Amelia, even an eye in every direction wouldn't be enough. Time begins counting down, fast. Did she want to involve her friends? Could the new people in her life be trusted? She wouldn't have long to make a decision. Not before her world comes blazing down, the final battle on the horizon. Tick, tock, Amelia. You don't want to be late to the party when you're the guest of honour. COMPLETED 06/11/20
