five years after the events of Weirdmageddon, Dipper and Mabel return the the Mystery Shack.

After hours of intensive research from Dipper, he realizes that Bill is alive and well within Fords mind.

Bill is freed, and just like any Bill move, he strikes a deal with Dipper

"I wanted to make a deal with you, I want to stay here with you guys, I'll protect you, I'll fight for you, I'll even learn exactly how to be a human, but that part I need help with, so I was gonna ask if you could help me"

When Dipper accepts, things start to become haywire, teaching Bill the ropes of human life, while Bill reveals his own life.

It gets even worse when the two go from friends, to lovers.
