So here I sit, in a cafe on the main strip of a shopping complex, battling depression with a coffee and an egg n' bacon roll. The weather is shit - it's the coldest day I've had this year, with rain and dark clouds, yet it is relaxing. Upon reflection, I've realised that I have learnt some valuable lessons, lessons that not enough people get to learn. Only issue is, I being me, have the gift of learning the hard way.
I'm proud of the person I have become, but that's not to say I would happily endure all of my experiences again. Some for sure! Others, not so much. My friends say I'm somewhat of a decent writer and to be frank, I agree. This is a project I've always wanted to put into action. Sharing experiences with boys, girls, and everyone in between, in hopes that someone will snag this advice and apply it to their everyday experiences.
