Her grandma was full of summoning stuffs and had a book that had a full of magic words that was all about witchcraft.

And she always say to Kara that don't ever try to open that book or else something will happen to her. The one that is going to open it is going to awake the demon inside of the opener but there is only one way to control it but it was only known by her grandma.

Kara is also a victim of bully because of those creepy things happening to their village. That's why she once decided to open it to punish all of the people's that bully her.
