Ironically because once a year, all crime is legal for 12 hours. Many participate, while others try and hide. James Tate used to be the one to hide and protect himself. But one Purge Night changed all that. Now it's that night of the year again, and James has a goal in mind. The only question he asks himself is if he can accomplish this goal while surviving the night. The Purge is trademarked by Universal Studios. As I leave, the cold British wind greets me. I zip up my sweater, and start walking home. Thanks to my parents, I don't have a car. "You're too irresponsible for a car, Courtney.
