How we made it in South Africa
I invite you to share in our journey. I started writing this book 13 May 2008 It takes you through our whole experience of rising up and prospering in South Africa - even under a racist ANC government. I've written this book as an inspiration, that even in the face of huge adversity, you can come out on the other side and make it. However, my wish for you is not to only "make it" - but live your best life. I invite you to come on this journey with us. It was sometimes an emotional rollercoaster with many trials and tribulations, but the end result was worth it. This book is very special and unique in the sense that it was started and written while I was at the lowest point in my life with no salvation in sight... It's wasn't written in hindsight or after the fact. It started with hope, a dream, a promise. You will see when you start going through these pages - If I could make it, surely you can. The world is chaotic and cold. No love to give and no warmth to feel. It was easy to live in that kind of world when it was the environment you were raised in-it's just sad for the ones who were thrown into the mix without warning. The only advice you could truly give someone who was new and foreign to that kind of setting is to make sure every choice you make is made with purpose or else, what the hell are you still living for?
